Wilhelm Wundt’s (father of modern psychology’s primary goal was to remove the idea that relationships of consciousness and the actively organizing processes were conducted metaphysically by the means of an immortal soul or an abstract transcendental (spiritual) principle. Effectively man is not a soul possessed of a body and spirit joined but rather a purely biological entity that has no effect other than to be acted upon by outward and chemical forces.
Psychology grew out as a body of work based on these premises removing God from our humanity and making man God himself.
The rest of the psychological world operates within a construct designed by other men that would set them selves up as Gods over the rest of the mini gods they developed through their control of the study. A major concept that was born out of grouping of men who lived within 300 miles of each other aside from William James in NY.
William James spent his life trying to explain that religious genius came as a result of religious mysticism and insanity with that thought coming from or co-located in the “great subliminal or transmarginal region”. Closely resembling the hermetic tradition but a ways off into imitation.
While he viewed God as coexistent with the world (people in the world), God only applied to these who believed and didn’t exist outside of the belief sets of religious genius outside institution and only ideas to be considered and of no material fact or overarching truths. That God existed as a mere artifact of psyche.
This denies the unending principle of the ALL. That which is knowable but unknowable and beyond all measurement, observation and quantification. It also explains that all the phenomenal world or universe is simply a Mental Creation of THE ALL, subject to the Laws of Created Things, and that the universe, as a whole, and in its parts or units, has its existence in the Mind of THE ALL, in which Mind we “live and move and have our being.” This Principle, by establishing the Mental Nature of the Universe, easily explains all of the varied mental and psychic phenomena that occupy such a large portion of the public attention, and which, without such explanation, are non-understandable and defy scientific treatment. (e.g. beyond all measurement, observation and quantification)
Modern psychology and all of its schools of thought are derived out of an echo chamber of Godlessness that attempt to remove the supernatural influences that can’t be explained, observed or quantified in its study. While other more fringe concepts were not so heartily accepted to include those of religion or mystic faith which; in times past have been labeled as mental disease necessitating repair.
When other minds came into the study and attempted to reintroduce the concepts of a soul as existed elsewhere outside of space and time they were thrown out and marginalized. Minds such as Adler who advocated teleology instead of epistemology, who looked at the human experience as one moving forward from now instead of the now being a sum of all experience doomed to unravel from supposed traumas and emotional tools. A philosophy that ascribes purpose to objects and events. Excommunicated from the club of Freud and Jung because he challenged their orthodoxy of psychological belief of predeterminant etiologies. Even more recently we can see the orthodox psychological belief having excommunicated Jordan Peterson by stripping him of license and relegating him from not only academia but by his own government casting him out and threatening prison.
Many but not all modern practitioners that attempt belief while maintaining these theories or processes of thought ignore the fact that they are in and of themselves immersed in a counterfeit imitation. The processes of modern psychology so intermixed with theology are in and of themselves the philosophy of men mingled with scripture and essentially need to be separated from the constructs in which they reside to do any good for the religious man. The regimens and practices must be deconstructed from the accepted body of work whose foundations are so utterly putrid and rotten in their carnal and base state. Psychology doesn’t reach upward, it reaches down. Therein lies the great promise if accepted and the traditionalist view radically conformed to the notion that supernatural forces exist to suggest to the mind action and thought that don’t necessarily originate within the self.
In its current form psychology should be called the epistemology of human cerebral biology because we don’t yet have the technology or sufficient grasp on the unseen world to describe or understand the connections to the space outside our human existence. Truth is rolled up into one whole and for that you need physics and other sciences to attempt to address the human condition instead of being so narrowly focused. What we have now is tantamount to vivisection with crude tools or giving Radium infused products for heath and healing.
Modern psychology is so dangerous that it needs to be treated with great care.
Where Babylon has captured our financial system and enslaved us to its elite overseers, the orthodoxy of modern psychology has enslaved our souls to our most base and carnal instincts.
The latter serving the former to help the victim cope with the unnatural situation we find ourselves in delivering up a false sense of agency and choice by offering a plethora of etiologies and justifications for the counterfeit we find imposed upon ourselves.
Practitioners are trained in methodologies to get the individual to a point where they can be productive in society and be ok in their current situation or to help them modify their situation and mindset within the bounds of the system they find themselves in. Trained individuals usually train and offer “therapeutics” for compliance and control of others who would be non systemic or better put outliers who see the reality of the overarching control of the Babylonian system and want out.
It’s unfortunate that once a professional that has dedicated many years of their life to this craft they become “aspiring men, in other words, men who had not the substance of godliness about them, perhaps undertook to handle edged tools. Children, you know, are fond of tools while they are not yet able to use them”
Evelyn Hooker and Alfred Kinsey published many “studies” that further proved psychology’s downward spiral by taking what Freud taught about sexuality as humanity’s primary driving force and built upon that shaky foundation of preference. Aldous Huxley foresaw this condition arising when he wrote about the World State with the phrase “Everyone belongs to everyone else” and the condition of society promulgating unrestricted pleasure while deriding independence as a form of control thereby eliminating dysregulation of self and society. Dysregulation being equal to self denial and inhibition. Regulation being succumbed to the basest of states and uninhibited.
CS lewis tried to defend against these behaviors (The Abolition of man) and the incessant attempts to normalize Human baseness as those without rule or tradition seeking to establish normative standards based on “instinct”or carnal impulse. Thereby justifying the carnal man.
Psychology could be a great boon for mankind and many have achieved a great deal of help from therapists trained in its principles. They have been given coping skills but this is not a permanent solution. Psychology must not be separated from what Lewis describes as the Tao or the way that was established before man and for mankind to flourish.
